K9000 Dog Wash On OCC (American Choppers) Tonight on TLC!

Well, it was brief but if you tuned in tonight to Orange County Choppers, you would have seen the K9000 dog wash in action as Paul Jr. washed his dog, Abraham... It was pretty neat to see the K9000 signs and the K9000 in action on world-wide TV.

ATTENTION K9000 Owners!! Freezing Temps Tips

K9000 owners - be aware - if you operate a K9000 outdoors and expect an overnight hard freeze, please be sure to remove your washgun to prevent it from freezing ... remove it at night, store it in the cabinet/indoors and re-attach it in the morning ... we have found that when ice forms inside the washgun, it could break the seals and you'll find the washgun not spraying correctly.

Also, be sure to check your water temp every few days or at least once a week. The ambient water temperature has gone down so you may need to adjust your mixing valve to keep the water warm.

And a friendly reminder: clean our your coin mech and bill validator monthly!!

Lastly, be sure to check your pumps (all shampoos) and ensure they haven't lost their prime. For any question, please call us.

K9000 Washes Dogs In Sub-Freezing Temps!

I know - you are thinking - "there is no way people will use the K9000 to wash their dogs in the winter" - right? Oh contrare. We were just up in the hills of NY a few days ago - temps of -10 with the wind chill at night - barely getting up to 30 degrees during the day. The K9000 is installed at a dog park - a small 20'x10' 'dog house' around it - insulated with a very small 110v heater hanging from the wall. Warm water from a hot water tank installed inside the cabinet of the K9000.

From the moment the dog park opened until the last few dogs remained, still running wild in the snow covered mulch, dog owners comfortably (and quite enjoyably) washed their doggies in preparation to bring them back home. Everyone was cozy, warm and comfortable, including the dogs.

The bottom line, if we have a comfortable, convenient and affordable place to wash and dry our dogs, we will. The K9000 Dog Wash gets the job done no matter what region you live in, what type of weather you have, and no matter what kind of dog you have in your family.

OCC's Paul Jr. To Unveil Dog Park in NY Next Week - Including a K9000 Dog Wash!

Yep, you heard it hear first. Paul Teutul Jr. of Orange County Choppers/American Choppers will unveil his new dog park to the public on December 12th. The dog park, located in Montgomery NY, includes agility equipment as well as TMC's very own K9000 Dog Wash.
