Back On Track - Time is NOW to Install Your K9000
What an unbelievable election last night! The hope is back, the inspiration is back ... America is back! Now let's get the economy back. Look, the pet industry is still thriving during this recession. Look it up on the web. Self serve dog washing is in tremendous demand.... just ask our clients. Dog owners are desperately looking for an inexpensive, quick and easy way to keep their best friend clean. The time is NOW to jump on board with the K9000 dog wash system. Global economics allows us to offer the K9000 well below $20K at this point... will it last? We don't know... but the time has never been better to get the K9000 installed at your business. Take advantage and do it before your competition does.

Ramp & Tub vs. K9000 dog wash - Let's hear from you!
We have been receiving feedback from pet owners who have used both the car wash industries' 'ramp & tub' and the K9000 dog wash to get Fido squeaky clean and dry. But we want more. CALLING ALL COIN OPERATED DOG WASH OWNERS AND USERS THAT HAVE USED BOTH: WHAT DO YOU LIKE AND DON'T LIKE ABOUT EITHER SYSTEM?
Let's hear from you! Thank you in advance and we look forward to your candid feedback.

Prepare NOW Before Fay Hits Land - Secure Dog Wash Systems
Look, it hopefully won't be a big deal but in the next 48 hrs, Florida will be bracing for the impact of TS Fay. Here are a few simple preparation steps to follow in order ensure your equipment and no people get damaged or hurt:
1) if you don't have your unit bolted down, now is the time to do it - it's simple, costs little and can certainly help
2) if you have an awning/canopy over the unit, remove it by tomorrow - these act as parachutes so take them off and store them in your maintenance room
3) closer to landfall, it may make sense to remove the hoses so they are not damaged or even rip off and could become projectiles
Folks, use common sense. And start preparing NOW if you live in Florida. A little preparation could save you thousands of dollars in repairs and lost revenue. Be safe.

Washing Your Dog Twice Per Week Is Recommended By Vets!
My 100lbs black lab, Ike, has been itching and scratching something terrible lately. He has several hot spots and is miserable... and we are miserable too because it keeps us up at night. So we took Ike to our vet today and wanted to share our learnings with everyone.
She says that weekly bathing with a moisturizing shampoo is recommended! And the note we brought home states (and I quote):
"Weekly or twice weekly bathing in a moisturizing shampoo (non-soap, non-detergent) is recommended."
Dog owners need an affordable, efficient and simple way to wash their dogs EVERY WEEK. Your K9000 dog wash at your business is the PERFECT fit for the majority of dog owners. The Tropiclean shampoos offered in the K9000 self serve coin operated dog wash are NON-SOAP and NON-DETERGENT ... they are also alcohol free too. So it will not rinse away the natural oils nor the expensive flea treatments like Frontline and Advantage and it will NOT dry out the dog's coat. Wash them twice per week in the K9000 and notice the difference. Use the Kiwi Conditioner which is coconut-based and moisturizes well.
BTW, the Midland, TX location did 37 washes in one day! That's a record.

Dangerous Chemical-based Shampoo Products Banned in New York - Be Aware Car Wash Owners
We were talking to a potential client the other day who owns a car wash and has the ramp & tub-like system by either Kleen-Rite, Ginsan or the others and he informed me that he cannot offer the flea & tick option at his car wash in New York because the product was BANNED! People with coin-operated dog washes, especially you all in the car wash space, we encourage you to reevaluate your shampoo products - particularly those that are poisons and dangerous pesticides! Why take on the unnecessary liability??
If you do not know about the pet industry but are trying to offer pet related services, you better do your homework so it doesn't come back to bite you like it's doing for those in New York. The wrong 'chemical' shampoo products will equal lower dog wash revenue.
Our recommendation, Tropiclean shampoos. They are very well known throughout the pet industry, their products are natural and their flea and tick shampoo we offer in the K9000s contains Neem - a natural alternative to harmful pesticides. Plus Tropiclean's shampoos won't rinse away expensive flea treatments like Frontline, Advantage, etc. that most pet owners use regularly on their dogs.
We are sorry that folks are learning the hard way.
