Washing Your Dog Twice Per Week Is Recommended By Vets!

My 100lbs black lab, Ike, has been itching and scratching something terrible lately. He has several hot spots and is miserable... and we are miserable too because it keeps us up at night. So we took Ike to our vet today and wanted to share our learnings with everyone.

She says that weekly bathing with a moisturizing shampoo is recommended! And the note we brought home states (and I quote):

"Weekly or twice weekly bathing in a moisturizing shampoo (non-soap, non-detergent) is recommended."

Dog owners need an affordable, efficient and simple way to wash their dogs EVERY WEEK. Your K9000 dog wash at your business is the PERFECT fit for the majority of dog owners. The Tropiclean shampoos offered in the K9000 self serve coin operated dog wash are NON-SOAP and NON-DETERGENT ... they are also alcohol free too. So it will not rinse away the natural oils nor the expensive flea treatments like Frontline and Advantage and it will NOT dry out the dog's coat. Wash them twice per week in the K9000 and notice the difference. Use the Kiwi Conditioner which is coconut-based and moisturizes well.

BTW, the Midland, TX location did 37 washes in one day! That's a record.

Dangerous Chemical-based Shampoo Products Banned in New York - Be Aware Car Wash Owners

We were talking to a potential client the other day who owns a car wash and has the ramp & tub-like system by either Kleen-Rite, Ginsan or the others and he informed me that he cannot offer the flea & tick option at his car wash in New York because the product was BANNED! People with coin-operated dog washes, especially you all in the car wash space, we encourage you to reevaluate your shampoo products - particularly those that are poisons and dangerous pesticides! Why take on the unnecessary liability??

If you do not know about the pet industry but are trying to offer pet related services, you better do your homework so it doesn't come back to bite you like it's doing for those in New York. The wrong 'chemical' shampoo products will equal lower dog wash revenue.

Our recommendation, Tropiclean shampoos. They are very well known throughout the pet industry, their products are natural and their flea and tick shampoo we offer in the K9000s contains Neem - a natural alternative to harmful pesticides. Plus Tropiclean's shampoos won't rinse away expensive flea treatments like Frontline, Advantage, etc. that most pet owners use regularly on their dogs.

We are sorry that folks are learning the hard way.

What is our affiliation with the Pet Clin dog wash?

Folks, our prospects and clients are getting a bit confused about another dog wash supplier entering into the US market using the Pet Clin name and brand so we thought we would clear everything up with the facts.

Back in '05, TMC Pet Vending Solutions started out distributing the Pet Clin dog wash system manufactured by Interlamas out of Narravo, Spain. Interlamas had been in the coin-op dog wash manufacturing business for nearly a decade at that point. TMC became the first US-based distributor of the Pet Clin dog wash systems and still is the only Pet Clin distributor from what we know and understand. Today, TMC is responsible for five (5) Pet Clin locations in FL, GA and AR including the US Army.

Because of the weakening US dollar, terrible manufacturer and supplier support from Spain, and a serious decrease in the quality of Pet Clin dog washes coming out of Spain, TMC made a business decision to find a better option for the US. Thus, the K9000 built by Tru Blu in Australia. Today, TMC still supports our Pet Clin clients however there will be NO ADDITIONAL Pet Clin dog washes entering into the US for which TMC will be responsible.

Recently, there is very similar dog wash coming from China and the Pet Clin brand is being used to help promote this product. TMC Pet Vending Solutions has nothing to do with this product and this supplier's product from China. Nor do we intend to in the future.

TMC Pet Vending Solutions has been building a solid reputation based on business integrity and high-quality manufacturers/products. Our decision to represent the K9000 dog wash at the end of last year was for the best interest of our business and the future success of our clients moving forward. If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call. Thank you.
